Tenetehára is a Tupi–Guarani language of Brazil. Sociolinguistically, it is two languages, Guajajara (Guazazzara) and Tembe, though these are mutually intelligible. Tembe is spoken by less than a quater of its ethnic population of 820 (as of 1999); Guajajara, on the other hand, is robust, spoken by some 15,000 people.
